Subscriber tools

Main workflow shortcuts for designing gates, building BOM / cost lists, managing shop pricing data, and creating customer bids.

Starter subscriber bid page. This is adapted from the Autogate NW bid workflow. Next steps can pull parts from the BOM/cost-list and labor from the saved weld estimate. For now, enter or add line items manually.

Saved subscriber bids

No saved bids were found yet. Create and save a bid below, then it will appear here for editing, copying, or deletion.

Saved bid files live directly in subscribers//bids/ as bid_no_bid.json, bid_no_client.html, and bid_no_internal.html. Copying a bid gives it a new bid number while keeping the details for fast editing.

Subscriber / shop information

These values are pulled from the subscriber profile. They can be adjusted here for this bid without changing the saved subscriber profile.

Gate and BOM selection

No saved gate designs were found. Save a gate in Gate Designer first, then return here to attach a gate and BOM / cost list to the bid.

Choose the saved gate design and matching BOM / cost list. The first bid line below uses the saved materials total when available. If pricing is incomplete, the line is still added with a blank raw cost so the subscriber can enter it manually.

Line Items

Unchecked customer bids still show all line items and descriptions, but hide each line's Unit Price and Line Total. Subtotal, sales tax, and total remain visible. Checked customer bids show the line prices. The internal copy always keeps full pricing detail.

If a BOM / cost-list with a materials total is selected above, the first line is automatically set to the BOM materials cost. That line uses the markup multiplier just like a regular part line. Line totals are editable; changing one recalculates the unit cost/rate for that line. Labor rows use the labor rate above unless manually changed. Any priced/labor line with a blank Qty / Hrs field is ignored on the finished bid. Comment lines may be left without Qty / Hrs and will print as notes.

Quick line-removal hint: To keep a priced part, cost, labor, or travel line from appearing on the finished bid, clear its Qty / Hrs field. Lines with a blank Qty / Hrs are ignored, so a separate remove button is usually not needed. Comment lines may be left without Qty / Hrs and will still print as notes.
