Slide Gate Operators

Electric slide operators cover most needs; hydraulic operators are typically used for heavier or higher‑duty sites.

Liftmaster CSW24V

Engineered for a million cycles in high-cycle, heavy-duty applications it is rated for gates 18 ft. long or 1,200 lbs.

Hysecurity SlideSmart DC 15

The SlideSmart chain drive slide operator is built for residential and commercial slide gate applications. It's a great alternative to the Liftmaster for those concerend with price as it is about $600 less expensive.





Viking K2SLK Residential Slide Gate Operator

Retailing just under $3200 these operators from Viking seem well built and compact. They include a couple of remote controls and are rated for gates up to 30' and 700lbs.





Hydraulic Slide Gate Operators

HySecurity SlideDriver II

Top of the line for most applications there are the hydraulic rail drive operators from the HySecurity company for large sliding gates. These are found in places such as sally ports or airports and big commercial or industrial sites. But they are also found at only a few residences having unusually large or heavy gates as retail prices are in the range of $10,000 to 40,000.

They are capable of handling the larger heavy gates under conditions of continuous operation.
